STORY BEHIND THE FEATURES

ODOO BEHAVIOUR

Odoo does not manage multi-sequence for one object and does not propose Production order.

CLUEDOO BEHAVIOUR

Production order is a Cluedoo module to manage your production requests (for finished products or for intermediate products you launch for the stock) with the whole BOM structure.

On the top of this module, Cluedoo propose to define the sequence of your production order according to your product category in order to have several sequences, and so easily search the type of production order you are managing.

MODULE +

Very convenient for the production manager to track the products.

Moreover, if you are using your finished product production order number for your after sales service, which is a classic practice, it allows you to have a continuous sequence.

BUSINESS CASE

A classic business case is to make a sequence for finished product and a sequence for components to clearly split both of them.

CLUEDOO RECOMMENDATION

To be installed only upon request and regarding the factory organization. Cluedoo advices to discuss about this point with your functional consultant before installing and configure this module.

OUR FEATURES AS SOLUTION

Selectable production order sequences on product category with route "Produce".
Create as many production order sequences as you need.

HOW TO USE THIS MODULE?

1.

On Product Categories, we have Finished Product checkbox. Let it checked

2.

Case 1: if a production order is automatically got from a sales order line (ie MTO - Produce), then the sequence used is the Finished product sequence.

Case 2: for production order which is not got from sales order line, when we create production order for a product with product category finished product, it will use the finished product sequence.

In other situation, it will use the default production order sequence.
